Dear Salk Families,

NYC Admissions Solutions is pleased to help you stay organized during the high school admissions process by providing a specially tailored “Salk Family Calendar” for a select list of public and independent high schools. This calendar will track important school events and admissions deadlines.

About this calendar

The Salk Family Calendar will feature open house and tour dates (virtual and otherwise), SHSAT testing dates, and other admissions deadlines (portfolio, essays, test registration, and other admissions requirement deadlines) as we learn about them. The purpose of this calendar is to track these important events for a select list of public and independent high schools only, including the specialized high schools. The Salk Family Calendar will be updated twice a week on Tuesday and Friday afternoons from late August through November and will be available online through the password-protected website below whenever a family chooses.

Please note that NYCAS makes no guarantees about event availability or the timeliness of this notification system, and this system is not intended as a 24/7 event monitoring and notification tool.

Important: The Salk Family Calendar is provided as a service to the Salk PTA, is for general informational purposes, and is only intended for Salk families. We ask that you kindly not share this information outside of the current Salk community. NYCAS cannot guarantee the information, admission, or availability of the events listed, and NYCAS is not responsible for any changes in policy or otherwise made by schools or the Department of Education.
